Yupo is a very unique, synthetic (polypropylene), non-porous surface that gives artists the flexibility to work in several different mediums to achieve unique and creative results. The acid-free, non-absorbent surface allows colours to lie on top of the paper producing brilliant, vibrant effects making it the perfect solution for a variety of marketing, design, packaging and labeling needs. This paper is super-smooth and prints consistently and effortlessly while holding ink with razor-sharp precision. The paper is durable, wipes clean, is waterproof and will not tear. Painting or drawing on this ultra-smooth surface is different than regular watercolour or drawing paper - so experiment, as the applications are infinite! Great for watercolour, mixed media, alcohol based inks and markers, pen and ink, airbrush, fluid acrylic, collage, pencil/graphite, oil pastel and more. Water based mediums are easily re-activated, even ones put down months ago. When your piece is done, allow Yupo to dry completely and spray it with a clear finishing spray to seal and protect once your work is complete.
