Varnishes provide a transparent coating which protects the finished painting from dirt. Picture varnishes are removable, enabling the painting to be cleaned in the future. Varnishes should not be used as mediums for adding to the colour. A superior quality UV resistant artists' gloss varnish removable with Artists' White Spirit or Distilled Turpentine. Quick drying. Non-yellowing. Does not bloom or crack. Do not use until painting is completely dry (6-12 months).
