Winsor & Newton Artisan Water Mixable Varnish Remover - 75ml

This safely removes Artisan varnishes from paintings for cleaning re-varnishing. Apply generously onto a lint free cloth and gently rub into the varnish film. If slight pigment is visible on the cloth this is an indication that the removal has been successful.Avoid undue abrasion. Conventional oil mediums can be mixed with Artisan but negate the water-soluble quality of Artisan, simply making it an oil paint. At this point, use of Artisan water-soluble mediums is not recommended for use with traditional oils.
