Gotrick Uncradled Russian Birch Panels

Constructed of quality, tight grain baltic birch plywood, these unique, " (6mm) thick painting panels offer a non-splintering, non-porous surface while retaining tremendous strength with minimal warpage. Unlike traditional cradled or suported wood panels they are flat on both sides, but being thicker and stiffer than masonite board they still deliver the feel of painting on wood. A few coats of sealer or gesso between sanding sessions is still recommended but once prepared, the panels may be used for all types of paint such as oil, acrylic, encaustic and tempera.
