Golden MSA Solvent is the ideal solvent for thinning Golden MSA Varnish. A 100% full-strength mineral spirit, MSA Solvent is suitable for reducing varnish viscosity as well as for cleaning tools and brushes. While other solvent manufacturers continue to change their formulas to comply with legislative restrictions, Golden's MSA Solvent remains the only solvent fully compatible with their MSA Varnishes. It can also be used to remove MSA varnish once dry for restoration purposes. Available in 32oz (473ml and 946ml) sizes. For brush application, start with 3 parts MSA Varnish to 1 part MSA Solvent and adjust accordingly. To spray, start with a 2:1 dilution.
