High quality, professional encaustic paints designed for artists with highly pigmented, vibrant and creamy colours. Made only of the finest artist grade lightfast pigments engineered to withstand the heat requirements of the encaustic process without colour shifts. The base of all Hot Cake wax paint is USP (United States Pharmaceutical Grade) beeswax and high grade damar resin. Safe to use in the studio, USP beeswax is chemical and bleach free while the damar resin used contains no added solvents. Packaged in a convenient metal tin, the flat bottom design allows you to evenly melt the Hot Cake on a hot plate. The lid keeps dust and debris out of the paint and makes for easy storage. Set includes: 1.5 fl oz each of Titanium White, Ultramarine Blue, Bismuth Yellow, Naphthol Red, Slick Wax & Wax Medium stored in convenient jumbo tin.
