Artist quality Conte pastel pencils can be used on their own or with Conte crayons and/or traditional pastels. Perfect for fine detail, this classic drawing material in a pencil form features fine, smooth leads able to lay down rich & beautifully pigmented colour. Sharpen carefully to avoid lead breakage. Conte recommends using a knife for the wood or a grinder/sandpaper block for the lead.
